Ohio State has been insanely good under Urban Meyer. Michigan has been good under Jim Harbaugh. But their records after the Wolverines’ loss to Florida State in the Orange Bowl on Friday show the disparity between the two.
UPDATE: With Ohio State’s 31-0 loss to Clemson in the College Football Playoff semifinal, Meyer once again tied Harbaugh with six losses.
Harbaugh is 20-6 in two seasons at Michigan, going 10-3 in each. Meyer is 61-6 in five seasons at Ohio State, losing more than one game just twice (12-2 in 2013, 11-2 this year). His only unbeaten season came when his team was ineligible for the postseason in 2011, but Ohio State won the inaugural College Football Playoff after the 2014 season.
