The Lane Kiffin-Nick Saban football marriage was always somewhat of an odd pairing of personalities. And while they denied any troubles when asked over the years, actions spoke louder than words on Monday.
Saban made the decision to move on from Kiffin as the Crimson Tide offensive coordinator just one week away from playing in the national championship game. He instead will turn to Steve Sarkisian, who was set to take over for Kiffin after the game anyhow. Kiffin will presumably jump right into his duties as the new head coach at FAU.
