Although he didn’t improve his Heisman odds last weekend, Penn State running back Saquon Barkley remains the Big Ten player most likely to win the Heisman Trophy.
Barkley’s Heisman odds, via Bovada Sportsbook, remained at 9/1 after the Nittany Lions 56-0 drubbing of Georgia State over the weekend. While Barkley remains at the top, other Big Ten stars have fallen.

Among those falling stars is Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett. Barrett, who was considered one of the Heisman favorites at the beginning of the year, saw his odds drop from 25/1 last week to 33/1 this week.
Barrett’s fellow Big Ten quarterback, Penn State’s Trace McSorley, also saw his odds fall from 50/1 to 66/1.
There is one surprise appearance on the odds list that should make Buckeyes fans happy: the inclusion of Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins.
Dobbins, who has become the unquestioned starter at running back and the next star in the making for the Buckeyes, went from off the board to 40/1 odds to win the Heisman.
While it is unlikely Dobbins takes the trophy this season, the freshman looks as if he can gear up for another run when he becomes the face of the Ohio State offense. Dobbins is eighth in the nation and second in the Big Ten with 425 rushing yards.
