In the latest version of DraftExpress’ NBA mock draft, Michigan State’s Miles Bridges and Wisconsin’s Nigel Hayes were two of five players from the Big Ten to make the cut. Purdue’s Caleb Swanigan, Indiana’s OG Anunoby and Thomas Bryant also found a spot on the draft board.
For the Spartans, the 6-foot-7, 230-pound Bridges is projected to be selected at No. 11 overall by the Portland Trailblazers. The 6-8, 240-pound Hayes is marked as a second-round selection, going to the Indiana Pacers at No. 48 overall.
As a freshman, the Michigan State forward collects 16.2 points and 8.3 rebounds per contest, including a 16-point, 11-rebound performance in the Spartans’ latest win against Iowa on Saturday. While his attention is currently centered around the Spartans‘ NCAA Tournament push, NBA scouts must be giddy over the potential lottery pick’s athleticism.

On the flip side, the Badgers senior forward amasses 13.6 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. In Hayes’ last three seasons, Wisconsin has rung up two Final Four appearances, including a 68-63 loss to Duke in the 2015 national championship game. During that run, he even scored an embarrassing moment in one of Wisconsin’s press conferences.
