One of the most dynamic wide receivers in the country is on the market this summer, and he could wind up in the Big Ten.
Jonathan Giles announced on Twitter that he’s considering 10 schools, including Ohio State, Wisconsin and Purdue. He’ll sit out this season, then have two years of eligibility remaining.

The 5-foot-11 Giles caught 69 passes for 1,158 yards and 13 touchdowns last season. He finished fourth in the Big 12 in receiving yards.
Giles was lightly recruited out of Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas, as a quarterback. The No. 1,334 player in the Class of 2015, according to 247Sports, converted to wide receiver and flourished in his sophomore season, leading a dynamic Texas Tech offense in receiving.
However, Giles had just 16 catches for 241 yards over Texas Tech’s last five games. Receivers Dylan Cantrell, Keke Coutee and Cameron Batson were bigger factors.
Here are Giles’ sophomore season highlights.
