Michigan and Ohio State football fans talk about The Game just about every day of the year. We’re a little less than two months away from this year’s game, when both teams could be ranked in the Top 5. They are both there right now.
Needless to say, people are excited. That includes ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit. The College GameDay star and analyst (and former Ohio State quarterback) seems optimistic the show will be in Columbus, Ohio, for the Michigan-Ohio State game on Nov. 26.
“Barring a catastrophic meltdown, GameDay will be at Michigan vs. Ohio State for #TheGame this year, right?” a Twitter user asked.
“Fingers crossed!!” Herbstreit answered.

The Game seems like an obvious choice, but it hasn’t worked out much recently. In fact, GameDay hasn’t been to the Ohio State-Michigan game since 2007. Surprising, right?
But with the Buckeyes No. 2 and Wolverines No. 4, both teams are getting it done on the field. Even if one or both loses once before the game, it’ll be difficult to stay away again.
