Indiana upset No. 17 Michigan State, Ohio State rolled against Rutgers and Michigan’s defense dominated against Wisconsin.
So it makes sense ESPN included representatives from each for its weekly Big Ten helmet stickers honors.
Here are the five selections:
- Indiana QB Richard Lagow
- Northwestern DL Ifeadi Odenigbo
- Michigan DB Channing Stribling
- Ohio State’s offensive line
- Maryland RB Ty Johnson
Lagow’s pick is a well-earned one. One week after he threw five interceptions in the home loss to Wake Forest, Lagow passed for 276 yards, 2 touchdowns and one interception as the Hoosiers rallied to beat Michigan State, 24-21, in overtime.
Also, those remembering Jourdan Lewis’ catch against Wisconsin (and who could forget that) may think Lewis had the star game. But Stribling was clutch throughout the game as well, picking off Wisconsin QB Alex Hornibrook twice in the 14-7 win. Lewis had big praise for Stribling’s game, saying it was the best he’s seen by a Michigan cornerback.
Bro had the best game I've ever seen a Michigan corner have @C_Strib8

The Ohio State offensive line was another easy choice. The Buckeyes rushed for 410 yards and four touchdowns in the 58-0 win against Rutgers. The line also gave J.T. Barrett time to take apart Rutgers’ defense for four touchdown passes.
Johnson ran for 204 yards on only seven carries against Purdue and Odenigbo had four sacks to frustrate Iowa’s line.
