There’s a new No. 1 in college basketball.
Baylor ascended to No. 1 in the AP poll after Villanova’s loss last week. At the other end of the latest rankings, Minnesota (15-2, 3-1 Big Ten) made its first appearance of the season in the top 25 at No. 24.
While Richard Pitino’s team cracked the poll, the Big Ten is still struggling in the rankings. For the first time this season, there are no Big Ten teams in the top 15 as Wisconsin (13-3, 2-1) dipped from No. 13 to No. 18 with a Sunday loss to Purdue.
The Boilermakers (14-3, 3-1) rose to No. 17 with the win, and Indiana fell out of the top 25 after a loss to Wisconsin last week.
Here is the full top 25:
- Florida State
- West Virginia
