Ohio State got just enough to win at Wisconsin in a top-10 battle. Nebraska continues to answer doubters with wins. What did it all mean for the Big Ten in the Coaches Poll?
Well, Alabama is still a clear No. 1 in the new Coaches Poll thanks to the win at then-No. 11 Tennessee. But Ohio State is a strong No. 2 and Michigan is No. 4.
Nebraska was No. 9 and remained there after beating Indiana, while Wisconsin also held at No. 10 after the overtime loss to Ohio State. Voters still have plenty of respect for the Badgers considering the two losses are to Ohio State and Michigan.
Here’s the Top 25 in the new Coaches Poll:
- Ohio State
- Texas A&M
- West Virginia
- Boise State
- Florida State
- Western Michigan
- North Carolina
- Ole Miss
Receiving votes: Iowa has 4 to lead Big Ten teams.
