Unbeaten Top-10 teams Houston, Tennessee and Miami (Fla.) all lost. It was another weird and wild fall Saturday.
But what did Saturday’s results do to the Big Ten’s bowl outlook?
Well, CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm updated his bowl picks, with Ohio State predicted to face Clemson in a College Football Playoff semifinal. The Buckeyes were the only Big Ten team in his CFP semifinals, though he had Michigan and Wisconsin in New Year’s Six games.
Even though Nebraska is likely to move into the Top 10 in Monday’s new polls, Palm is taking his time with the Huskers. He has Nebraska in the Outback Bowl.
Here’s what Palm sees for the Big Ten:
Ohio State: College Football Playoff vs. Clemson
Michigan: Rose Bowl vs. Stanford
Wisconsin: Orange Bowl vs. Louisville
Nebraska: Outback Bowl vs. Georgia
Michigan State: Music City Bowl vs. Florida
Northwestern: Birmingham Bowl vs. Tulsa
Indiana: Foster Farms Bowl vs. USC
Minnesota: Pinstripe Bowl vs. Pitt
Penn State: Holiday Bowl vs. Utah
Iowa: Heart of Dallas Bowl vs. Western Kentucky
Maryland: Quick Lane Bowl vs. Boston College
