The Big Ten built some serious national profile on Saturday when Ohio State trampled Oklahoma and Michigan State topped Notre Dame.
At least one national expert has taken notice. CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm, who didn’t have a Big Ten team in his College Football Playoff projections in either of the last two weeks, now has the Buckeyes as the No. 3 seed, facing Clemson.
No other Big Ten teams were added to Palm’s projections, though Northwestern did beat Duke last night to help its journey to six wins.
