Brian Asamoah narrowed his list to six schools on Friday morning and announced that he will decide on his school on April 21.
The 3-star linebacker from Columbus, Ohio, listed Penn State, Michigan, Pitt, UCLA, West Virginia and Cincinnati as his finalists. He holds 15 offers, though not one from Ohio State.

Asamoah, who attends St. Francis De Sales High School, is the No. 593 player and No. 45 outside linebacker in the Class of 2018, per the 247Sports Composite.
He took an unofficial visit to Penn State last weekend and plans to visit Michigan on March 18, according to 247Sports. He’s visited all of his finalists except Michigan and UCLA.
Here are his junior year highlights.
Penn State has the No. 1 recruiting class in the 2018 cycle with 11 commitments — two 5-stars and six 4-stars. Michigan has just three verbal pledges for 2018 (all 4-star prospects) and ranks 15th nationally.
Michigan signed four linebackers in 2017: 4-star prospects Drew Singleton, Josh Ross and Jordan Anthony and 3-star Ben Mason.
Penn State signed just two — 4-star Ellis Brooks and 3-star Brelin Faison-Walden — plus athlete Brailyn Franklin, who likely will play safety but could develop into a linebacker.
