The Big Ten Tournament has reached the semifinals, and the oddsmakers think Michigan State and Purdue have the best chances to reach Sunday’s final.
BetOnline had the Spartans were listed as the favorites over in-state rival Michigan and Purdue as a bigger favorite over Penn State ahead of Saturday’s action at Madison Square Garden.

Michigan State (-5) vs. Michigan – 2 p.m. ET, CBS
Purdue (-8) vs. Penn State – 4:30 p.m. ET, CBS
Purdue was listed as the favorite (8/5 odds) to win the whole tournament when Bovada released odds Thursday. The Boilermakers have not cut down the nets at the conference tournament since the 2009 campaign. Purdue, the third seed, beat Rutgers on Friday night in its first game of this year’s tournament.
Michigan State, meanwhile, had the second best odds to win the tournament at 33/20. The Spartans, ranked No. 2 in the country, held off ninth-seeded Wisconsin on Friday to get to the semifinals. Tom Izzo’s team dropped its lone regular season matchup against Michigan, 82-72, on Jan. 13.
