In the wake of the tragic accident involving the Humboldt Broncos hockey team earlier this week in Canada, many Big Ten men’s and women’s hockey teams have tweeted their condolences as has much of the world hockey community.
One of the ways teams are paying tribute is the Twitter hashtag #SticksOutForHumboldt, where people have been tweeting pictures of sticks left outside their front doors in honor of the 15 victims of the bus accident.
A few Big Ten teams took part in the movement as well, leaving sticks around their respective facilities.
