The Big Ten has four teams in the AP Poll Top 25 and should again this week, even with Ohio State’s loss.
Here’s how we see the Big Ten teams landing in the AP Poll, set to come out Sunday at 2 p.m.
Projected AP Poll
Previous: No. 2
New: No. 6
The Buckeyes will fall to No. 7 after losing to Penn State — voters will give Louisville a bump, but Texas A&M will still be behind Ohio State after losing to Alabama.
We think Ohio State stays ahead of Nebraska, despite the Huskers’ 7-0 mark.
Previous: No. 3
New: No. 2
The Wolverines continued to roll with a 41-8 win over Illinois. They’ll move up to No. 2 after Ohio State falls to No. 6.

New: No. 7
It wasn’t pretty again, but Nebraska is undefeated. We still think voters will value Ohio State’s clout and put the Buckeyes ahead of the Huskers.
Previous: No. 10
New: No. 9
The Badgers beat Iowa 17-9 and will jump Texas A&M, which falls to No. 11. Wisconsin plays Nebraska in Madison next week.

Penn State did everything it could to crack the Top 25 this week, but it still won’t. Here’s why.
No. 23 Ole Miss lost to No. 25 LSU and will fall out. But Colorado, which beat Stanford, was ranked No. 26 last week and will get inside the Top 25. We don’t see any other team falling out — maybe No. 11 Houston after losing to SMU.
The Nittany Lions should be ranked next week if they win at Purdue and a team in the back-end of the Top 25 loses.
