Saturday may have been a day full of blowouts for most of the Big Ten’s ranked and other top teams, but Week 3 will feature a busy slate of Top 25 showdowns and teams.
In the new AP Poll, both Ohio State and Michigan remained in the Top 5, with Wisconsin, Michigan State and Iowa joining them in the Top 25. Four of the five teams moved up on the poll:
No. 3 Ohio State (up one)
No. 4 Michigan (one first-place vote, up one in the poll)
No. 9 Wisconsin (up one)
No. 12 Michigan State (held at 12)
No. X Iowa (up three)
This week’s conference slate looks impressive and will likely lead to some major changes in the AP Poll. Ohio State travels to No. 14 Oklahoma, Michigan State visits No. 18 Notre Dame and unranked Nebraska plays at home against No. 22 Oregon. Then there’s Iowa, which faces five-time defending Football Championship Subdivision national champion North Dakota State.
