Ohio State is again No. 2 in the AP Poll, but Penn State made a big move after winning the Big Ten title.
In Sunday’s new AP Top 25 rankings, Ohio State stayed No. 2 despite not playing in Saturday’s Big Ten Championship Game.
Penn State, which beat Wisconsin in Indianapolis for the conference title, improved from No. 8 to No. 5 after the 38-31 win. Penn State is now the second-highest ranked Big Ten team. The Nittany Lions were previously behind Ohio State, Michigan and Wisconsin.
With the loss, Wisconsin dropped from No. 6 to to No. 8. Idle Michigan fell one spot to No. 6.
Iowa and Nebraska are again both toward the end of the poll. The Hawkeyes jumped one spot to No. 21 while Nebraska fell one spot to No. 24.
