Alabama is the favorite to win the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. No, not the one that will be played in Tampa on Monday night.
We’re talking about the one in 364 days.
Before the 2016 college football season comes to an end, the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has already listed odds on who will win the title in the 2017 season. Even though it’s a different year, it’s the same favorite.
Alabama is listed as a 3/1 favorite to win the 2018 national championship game. (The Crimson Tide are also a 6.5-point favorite against Clemson on Monday). Florida State is next at 7/1, and Ohio State has the best odds of any Big Ten team at 8/1. The Buckeyes currently have the same odds as Oklahoma and USC.
Michigan is listed with 12/1 odds and Penn State is third in the Big Ten as a 30/1 shot to win it all in a year.
