The Big Ten Hockey Tournament is down to four teams.
Second-seeded Wisconsin will face third-seeded Ohio State in one semifinal at 4:30 p.m. ET Friday at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. Top-seeded Minnesota will face fourth-seeded Penn State at 8 p.m. in the second semifinal.
Penn State defeated No. 5 Michigan 4-1, and Ohio State defeated No. 6 Michigan State 6-3 in the quarterfinals Thursday.
The semifinal winners will advance to the championship game at 8 p.m. Saturday.

The Big Ten champion receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, which includes 16 teams.
The NCAA Tournament is scheduled to begin March 24 at four regional sites: Providence, R.I., Fargo, N.D., Manchester, N.H., and Cincinnati.
The United Center in Chicago will host the Frozen Four, April 6-8.
2017 Big Ten Hockey Tournament semifinals preview
No. 2 Wisconsin vs No. 3 Ohio State, 4:30 p.m. ET
Wisconsin (19-14-1) is No. 18 in the nation but lost four of its final five games in the regular season, including a season-ending sweep by Ohio State on March 10-11. Sophomore forward Luke Kunin leads Wisconsin in scoring with 36 points (21 goals, 15 assists).
Ohio State (21-10-6) held off upstart Michigan State, which took a 3-2 lead into the second period. The Buckeyes scored 4 unanswered goals — 2 by David Gust — to advance to face the Badgers.
No. 1 Minnesota vs. No. 4 Penn State, 8 p.m. ET
Minnesota (23-10-3) enters the Big Ten tournament at No. 5 in the USCHO.com Top 25 poll.
Sophomore forward Tyler Sheehy — a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, given to the nation’s top Division I hockey player — leads the Big Ten in scoring with 52 points (20 goals, 32 assists).
Penn State (22-11-2) scored its fourth goal against the Wolverines early in the second period. Michigan — the defending Big Ten champion — scored its lone goal midway through the second.
If Penn State upsets Minnesota, it could be a signature win in the short history of the Nittany Lions’ Division I hockey program.
