It’s no secret that the Big Ten will have some talented players on the hardwood this season.
And as preseason talk about Big Ten Player of the Year can probably be focused on a handful of players, a list from SB Nation showcased the conference’s wealth of basketball talent.
SB Nation released the list of its top 100 college basketball players on Thursday, and it included 12 from the Big Ten.
Maryland guard Melo Trimble topped the list for Big Ten players, checking in at No. 12, and the conference had seven players in the top 40.
The Wisconsin duo of Nigel Hayes and Bronson Koenig were ranked 18th and 28th, respectively. Thomas Bryant was one of three Indiana players on the list, and he was tabbed as No. 29. And Michigan State’s freshman sensation, Miles Birdges, was placed at No. 32.
